Goal Setting Stories From Other Public Speakers

I wanted this blog entry"Goal Setting Stories From Other Public Speakers" to grow and grow because often when people get motivated and enthusiastic about their direction and goals, it is not always easy to find others who want to share it with you. It is important to be selective about with whom you share your goals as I mention in my book "Taming Your Public Speaking Monkeys". I suggest you only share stretching goals with people who will support and encourage you to reach them.

In Chapter 9 of the book (after the monkeys have been tamed) I consolidate all my goal setting learnings in once place to help you to set some really solid speaking goals. These goals help you both as part of the journey you go through while reading the book, and on your continued journey as a speaker.

If you spend time considering your future and making your goals SMART using the Advanced SMART techniques I share, (Specific, Said in the positive, Measurable, Achievable, accompanied by Action, Realistic and created with Respect, stated as if they were True and set against a Timeframe) then your chances of success are dramatically increased.

On this blog, by adding a comment using the box below - I’d love to hear about what you have planned for yourself and your community now your monkeys are under control and your confidence is growing. Please share your goals and story to help inspire others like you.
